At KC Dance Expressions, our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for all students. We provide a quality dance education, while helping each student gain confidence and reach their fullest potential.
Meet The Staff
We take our roles as mentors and teachers in your child’s life very seriously. It is our objective to inspire a passion for the art of dance in every child who passes through our doors. In the process, we strive to set the right example and help your child (and you) create memories that will last a lifetime.
The highest educational standards are expected from all KC Dance Expressions faculty members. They hold degrees in Dance and are lifelong learners who continue to educate themselves through certification programs, teacher-training schools, conferences, and other learning opportunities.

MARIAN FLETCHER

Marian started dancing when she was four years old and has loved it ever since her very first day. Tap has always been her passion and main focus, the rhythmic style of it has fascinated her. She began assistant teaching at the age of thirteen and that is where her love of teaching dance began. She teaches ages anywhere from 2 to Adult, but especially loves teaching the recreational and younger dancers. In May 2020, Marian graduated Summa Cum Laude with National Honors in dance from Bridgewater State University with a BA in Dance Education. While at Bridgewater State University, Marian served as Vice President of the National Dance Education Organization and was a member of the BSU Dance Company. Her modern and tap choreography were both selected for shows while studying at Bridgewater State University. She also choreographed a tap piece for BSU's winter show as an alumni in 2021. Marian was a competitive dancer in high school and has won many awards for her choreography at both the regional and national level. It has always been Marian's dream to one day open her own private dance studio and teach all different styles of dance. Marian has a passion for teaching dance and she loves to see her students grow in their love and appreciation in all styles. She wants to remind all dancers to have fun and Just Dance It!
ALIE COX

Alie began dancing in Lakeville, MA at the age of four. In 2014, Alie joined KC Dance Expressions where she was a co-captain of the KC Dance Company and an assistant teacher. She received the Corr-Netsky Foundation Scholarship award in 2018. Alie just recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with minors in dance and healthcare management. While at Stonehill, she was part of the Hip Hop and Step team along with being a member of the dance club her freshman year. Alie is currently getting her masters in inclusive education while working as a paraprofessional in a school. She enjoys going to the studio each week to see the progress each dancer makes. Alie loves exploring all styles of dance and looks forward to sharing her love for dance with those around her.

KAYLIE DEMEDEIROS

Kaylie DeMedeiros started her dance training at the age of two and began at KC Dance Expressions in 2018. In 2019 she became an assistant teacher and knew immediately she wanted to be a choreographer. In 2021 she received the studios Corr-Netsky Foundation Scholarship. She spent her time at KC on the studios company where she attended numerous competitions around the region. During her senior year on the KC Dance Company she was awarded 1st place at three competitions for her solo along with a judges choice award, a regional title, a top score in the category, and a convention scholarship at Groove Competition.

LAUREN GIBSON

Recently graduating summa cum laude and with national honors (through the National Honor Society for Dance Arts [NHSDA]) in dance and a minor in social welfare from Bridgewater State University, Lauren Gibson is a passionate and enthusiastic dance and movement educator, choreographer, and advocate. During her undergraduate career, she was a member of the National Dance Education Organization Student Chapter at BSU (NSO) serving as Public Relations Officer (2020-2021), Vice President (2021-2022), and President (2022-2023). During this time, Lauren was actively involved in the campus dance community, performing in and choreographing for departmental dance concerts (Winterdance 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022; Dance Kaleidoscope 2021, 2022) as well as taking on the role of Stage Manager for Dance Kaleidoscope (2023). Her participation in these concerts was also inclusive of working in the productions’ costume shop, theater management, backstage crew, and being the sound board operator and lightboard operator. In addition, she was a member of the Bridgewater State University Dance Company performing in their annual concerts (Pops 2020, 2022) along with choreographing (Pops 2021, 2022, 2023). Lauren is in pursuit of a dance/movement therapy career with a concentration in physical rehabilitation and preventative practices within settings of long-term hospitalization for pediatric patients. Lauren has nearly twenty years of dance training and experience comprised of styles such as tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, modern, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater, and Latin social dances, teaching many of these styles on both a recreational and competitive level. Her goal is to teach students about the importance of bodily and spatial awareness relating to self and others, as well as anatomical safety, through dance and movements.
CATRINA KUBEK

Catrina Kubek graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Adelphi University. At Adelphi, she performed works by Paul Taylor, Adelheid B. Strelick, Orion Duckstein, William Briscoe, and Jennifer Kreichman. During her junior year, she was nominated for and awarded the Lois Betts Scholarship Award for Dance 2016-2017. She has attended and performed at the American College Dance Association Northeast Conferences in 2017 and 2018. To further supplement her dance training, Catrina has attended the Boston Conservatory Dance Summer Intensive and Urbanity Summer Dance Intensive. Upon graduation, Catrina joined Project31 Dance Company in 2018 and is currently a dance captain for the company. In addition to Project31, she has performed professionally with the Julia Kane Dance Collective (New York), Douglas & Co. (New York), and Sasso & Company (Boston). She has formerly held the position of Company Director at KC Dance Expressions. Catrina is CPR & First Aid Certified and has completed Acrobatic Arts Module 1 teacher certification.

STACEY MEDEIROS

Stacey found the love of dance at the age of 3 and began dancing competitively across the USA at the age of 9. She studied 6 days a week in ballet, pointe, acrobatics, jazz, lyrical, and tap. She became an assistant teacher at the age of 12 and an instructor at the age of 16. Stacey studied Early Elementary at Bridgewater State University with a minor in dance, but soon realized she belonged in the medical field and changed careers. She never stopped teaching and instilling the love and art of dance in her students. Stacey's favorite style to teach is acrobatics, but loves teaching every style. Stacey has taught both recreational and competitive teams and won multiple choreography awards. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Stacey is extremely excited to join the KC Dance family.

Gloria Mott began dancing in 2006 at the age of 3 years old. In 2012, she proceeded to further her dance education through weekly classes, master classes, conventions, regional and national competitions, and more. She began teaching at the age of 13 and continues to foster a love for all things dance. Throughout her years of teaching and performing, Gloria has won several awards for qualities such as performance, execution of movement, technique, and emotion. Gloria's main goal is to set a friendly, caring, and no-judgment classroom environment for her students to feel comfortable being creative, original, and free. She hopes through her instruction she can share her knowledge of and experience in the dance world with the next generation of dancers, inspiring and working with everyone who mirrors her passion for dance.

Lilly started dancing during the very first KC Dance Expressions season in Mini Combo II when she was three years old. Her passion for performance was illustrated through her Drama Kids shows and each recital. At age six, she joined the first petite company team at our studio. Although she loves all types of dance, her favorite styles of dance are musical theater, contemporary, and ballet. Coming from a family of educators, Lilly loves working with children and has looked forward to becoming an assistant teacher for as long as she can remember. She hopes to be a good role model who motivates and inspires young dancers to become the best versions of themselves as they grow and face life's many challenges. In the future, she hopes to find a career making others happy and helping the world.

Kylie has been dancing since she was two years old. She started dancing at KC Dance Expressions in 2017. She loves all styles of dance, but tap, jazz, and modern always stuck out to her. She always dreamed of growing up and teaching others what she has learned in her previous dance years since the day she set foot on the dance floor!

She likes all styles of dance, but contemporary and acro are her favorites. She is captain of the KC Dance Company and enjoys spending time with all of her friends at competitions. Kaileigh is a 2019-2020 recipient of the Corr-Netsky Foundation Scholarship. Dancing is Kaileigh's passion, and she can't wait to share it with others!

She would like to pursue a career in dance when she goes through college and hopes others will follow in her footsteps.

Emma joined KC Dance Expressions in the 2018-2019 season. She participated in multiple styles of dance, but contemporary, lyrical, and modern are her top favorites. Emma hopes that in her future she will be able to pursue dance as a career. She hopes to help fellow dancers achieve their goals through this experience.
