 KATIE CORR DONAHUE

Owner, Director

​
Katie began her training at the age of six. It was then that she decided that one day she would open a studio of her own to inspire young dancers to achieve their dreams. Katie went on to receive a degree in Dance Performance and Elementary Education at Roger Williams University. There she had the opportunity to perform with The Dance Theatre, RIC Symphony Orchestra, and at the American College Dance Festival. While at RWU, she trained with such artists as Kelli Wicke Davis, Gary Shore, France Hunter, Kathy Gordon Smith, Pamela Raff, Neta Pulvermacher, Sharon Jenkins, Sean Curran, Michael Bolger, Jenny Rocha, L'Antoinette Steins, Melody Ruffin-Ward, and Tiffany Mills. She completed her dance practicum at Providence Academy of International Studies.
Before opening KC Dance Expressions in 2012, Katie was an elementary school teacher and taught at various dance studios. Katie has choreographed for the Ice Theatre of New England and is Acrobatic Arts Module 1, Aerial & Back Handspring, and Acrodance Pre School certified. When she isn't teaching, she loves spending time with her son, Benjamin and daughter, Rosie. Katie is excited to share her love of dance with her students!

CATRINA KUBEK

Director, Director of KC Dance Company, Teacher 

Catrina earned her BFA in dance from Adelphi University in New York under the direction of Frank Augustyn. While at Adelphi, she performed works by Orion Duckstein, William Briscoe, Jennifer Kreichman, and Adelheid B. Strelick, as well as guest choreographer, Paul Taylor. During her junior year, Catrina was awarded the Lois Betts Endowed Scholarship for Dance 2016-2017. She has attended and performed at the American College Dance Association Northeast Conference in 2017 and 2018. Catrina has attended Boston Conservatory Summer Dance Intensive and Urbanity Summer Dance Intensive, where she had the opportunity to perform in Boston Contemporary Dance Festival. Additionally, Catrina has performed with the Julia Kane Dance Collective in the New York City Choreographer's Forum. Currently a member of Joy Douglas & Company, Catrina has performed in numerous shows such as New York State Dance Education Association conference, Gibney Dance Center's "I <3 GDC", NYU Tisch Choreographer's Seminar, as well as Sisu at Adelphi University. Catrina enjoys sharing her passion for dance with her KC Dance students.

STACEY MEDEIROS

Director, Teacher


Stacey found the love of dance at the age of 3 and began dancing competitively across the USA at the age of 9. She studied 6 days a week in ballet, pointe, acrobatics, jazz, lyrical, and tap. She became an assistant teacher at the age of 12 and an instructor at the age of 16. Stacey studied Early Elementary at Bridgewater State University with a minor in dance, but soon realized she belonged in the medical field and changed careers. She never stopped teaching and instilling the love and art of dance in her students. Stacey's favorite style to teach is acrobatics, but loves teaching every style. Stacey has taught both recreational and competitive teams and won multiple choreography awards. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Stacey is extremely excited to join the KC Dance family.

ALIE COX 

Teacher


Alie began dancing in Lakeville, MA at the age of four. In 2014, Alie joined KC Dance Expressions where she was a co-captain of the KC Dance Company and an assistant teacher. She received the Corr-Netsky Foundation Scholarship award in 2018. Alie is currently a senior at Stonehill College. She is a health science major with a minor in dance. Alie is part of the Hip Hop and Step team at Stonehill along with being a member of the dance club her freshman year. She loves exploring all styles of dance and looks forward to sharing her love for dance with those around her.

KENZIE FINN

​Guest Teacher


Kenzie Finn is the founder and artistic director of Project 31, Boston's visceral contemporary dance company. P31 is focused on creating movement that is free-form, fluid, and for-all-eyes. Kenzie began her dance training at Center Stage Dance Academy in Plymouth, MA.  At fourteen, she transferred out of her local high school to pursue intensive dance training at the Boston Arts Academy. At the BAA, she had the opportunity to work with professionals such as Ina Hahn and Sean Curran while also broadening her range of dance styles and understanding of movement concepts. Upon graduating, Ms. Finn began work on her B.F.A. in dance choreography at Long Island University's Brooklyn campus where she trained under Dana Hash, Elizabeth Goheen, Kim Jones, and Colleen Thomas. Kenzie has also studied at the Regional and National High School Dance Festivals, as an intern at the Bates Dance Festival, and as a scholarship student at The University of the Arts "Summer World of Dance".  While in New York, Kenzie also became one of the inaugural members of the Calvin Wiley Dance Theatre in Manhattan. Since returning to Boston, Kenzie performed with Tribe, The Dance Company from 2005-2012, serving as the organization's operations assistant and coordinator of Tribe's workshop and masterclass series. Kenzie has also performed with Six One Seven Dance Collective under the direction of Kendra Heithoff, and as a member of Sasso & Company under the direction of Lacey Sasso. Miss Finn’s choreography has been shown at the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, Southern Vermont Dance Festival, and The Dance for World Community Festival. In addition, she has self-produced four evening-length concerts since 2017.
Kenzie Finn is a passionate dance educator. She holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Southern New Hampshire University with a concentration in child & adolescent development. Kenzie has also done extensive study in the area of early childhood development. Her dancers have won top awards and scholarships to summer dance programs and universities. Kenzie is a certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor as well as a former Leap N' Learn master teacher. She has served as a faculty member at Center Stage Dance Academy, South Shore School of Performing Arts, Sandwich Dance Academy, and the Dance Zone at Tumble Time Gymnastics. She has been a guest instructor at North Quincy High School's Renaissance Dance Program, The Boston Renaissance School, and The Boston Arts Academy. Kenzie is currently on faculty at Milton Academy and teaches at local studios.

MARIAN FLETCHER

Teacher


Marian started dancing when she was four years old and has loved it ever since her very first day. Tap has always been her passion and main focus, the rhythmic style of it has fascinated her. She began assistant teaching at the age of thirteen and that is where her love of teaching dance began. She teaches ages anywhere from 2 to Adult, but especially loves teaching the recreational and younger dancers. In May 2020, Marian graduated Summa Cum Laude with National Honors in dance from Bridgewater State University with a BA in Dance Education. While at Bridgewater State University, Marian served as Vice President of the National Dance Education Organization and was a member of the BSU Dance Company. Her modern and tap choreography were both selected for shows while studying at Bridgewater State University. She also choreographed a tap piece for BSU's winter show as an alumni in 2021. Marian was a competitive dancer in high school and has won many awards for her choreography at both the regional and national level. It has always been Marian's dream to one day open her own private dance studio and teach all different styles of dance. Marian has a passion for teaching dance and she loves to see her students grow in their love and appreciation in all styles. She wants to remind all dancers to have fun and Just Dance It!​

LAUREN GIBSON

Teacher


Lauren started her dance training at the age of two and joined the KC Dance family in 2014, where she spent her last five years of dance before graduating in 2019. She spent two of those years as a member of the studio's company, performing in numerous competitions around the region. She is currently in her third year at Bridgewater State University, where she is pursuing her BA in dance education with a concentration in dance/movement therapy while minoring in social welfare. Lauren spent her first year of college as a general member of BSU’s National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) Student Chapter Organization (NSO) and later served as the sole Public Relations Officer her second year (2020-2021). She currently holds the position of Vice President and is in the process of being inducted into the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA). In addition, she continues to be a general member of the BSU Dance Company. Lauren has taken part in college-level performances such as the university’s dance department showcases Winterdance (2019, 2020) and Dance Kaleidoscope (2021). She also choreographed a piece “Make Me Feel!” for Dance Company’s Pops! (2021). She has been cast in "Sushumna Nadi" (2019) part of a senior’s honors thesis concert Progress, Regress, Progress followed by virtual showcases such as “Building Pressure” (2020), “Approaching Solitude” (2021), and two senior advanced individual projects, “Mitakyue Oyasin” (2021) and “MASKulinity” (2021). As Lauren continues to expand upon her own dance education, she is beyond excited to work more in-depth with the KC Dance family this year. She looks forward to helping each dancer she works with find their own individual style of dancing, self-expression, and moving and grooving through their dance journey!

MAGGIE MICCICHE

Teacher

Maggie started dancing when she was eleven at KC Dance Expressions. A couple of years later, she started assistant teaching in various styles of dance. While dancing at KC, she was also a member of the KC Dance Company. Maggie was a 2016-2017 recipient of the Corr-Netsky Foundation Scholarship. She is currently a student at Springfield College, studying Occupational Therapy with a minor in dance. Maggie loves to share her love and passion for dance with her students!

GLORIA MOTT

Teacher

Gloria Mott began dancing in 2006 at the age of 3 years old. In 2012, she proceeded to further her dance education through classes, master classes, conventions, regional competitions, national competitions, and more. She began teaching at the age of 13 and continues to foster a love for all things dance. Throughout her years of teaching and performing, Gloria has won several awards for qualities such as performance, execution of movement, technique, and emotion. Gloria's main goal is to set a friendly, caring, and no-judgement classroom environment for her students to feel comfortable being creative, original, and free. She hopes through her instruction she can share her knowledge of and experience in the dance world with the next generation of dancers, inspiring and working with everyone who mirrors her passion for dance.

KIMBERLY WALKINS

Teacher


Kimberly Walkins, from Scituate MA, began dancing at the age of eight and competed for many years. For the past five years, she has taught classes in several studios around Massachusetts and has taken dance workshops all over the state. Kimberly has experience working on music videos-both on set and on camera. She is excited to continue furthering the dance education of KC Dance Expressions' youth!

LILLY DRISCOLL

Assistant Teacher


Lilly started dancing during the very first KC Dance Expressions season in Mini Combo II when she was three years old. Her passion for performance was illustrated through her Drama Kids shows and each recital. At age six, she joined the first petite company team at our studio. Although she loves all types of dance, her favorite styles of dance are musical theater, contemporary, and ballet. Coming from a family of educators, Lilly loves working with children and has looked forward to becoming an assistant teacher for as long as she can remember. She hopes to be a good role model who motivates and inspires young dancers to become the best versions of themselves as they grow and face life's many challenges. In the future, she hopes to find a career making others happy and helping the world.

KYLIE LEAHY

Assistant Teacher


Kylie has been dancing since she was two years old. She started dancing at KC Dance Expressions in 2017. She loves all styles of dance, but tap, jazz, and modern always stuck out to her. She always dreamed of growing up and teaching others what she has learned in her previous dance years since the day she set foot on the dance floor!

KAILEIGH MARCUS

Assistant Teacher


Before coming to KC Dance Expressions, Kaileigh danced for two years in Lakeville. After a few years off, she came to KC Dance in 2012, when Miss Katie opened her studio. She likes all styles of dance, but contemporary and acro are her favorites. She is captain of the KC Dance Company and enjoys spending time with all of her friends at competitions. Kaileigh is a 2019-2020 recipient of the Corr-Netsky Foundation Scholarship. Dancing is Kaileigh's passion, and she can't wait to share it with others!

Meghan has been dancing since the start of KC Dance Expressions when she was six. Meghan likes all styles, but prefers contemporary and modern. She is captain of the KC Dance Company and is a 2022-2023 recipient of the Corr-Netsky Foundation Scholarship.. She would like to pursue a career in dance when she goes through college and hopes others will follow in her footsteps.

Assistant Teacher


Emma joined KC Dance Expressions in the 2018-2019 season. She participated in multiple styles of dance, but contemporary, lyrical, and modern are her top favorites. Emma hopes that in her future she will be able to pursue dance as a career. She hopes to help fellow dancers achieve their goals through this experience.

Assistant Teacher


Lily first started dancing at KC Dance Expressions when she was 10, and it quickly became her favorite thing to do! While she loves all types of dance, her favorite style is ballet. She has a passion for teaching and having a positive impact on other dancers in the studio.
