Katie Ellis

Katie began dancing at KC Dance Expressions at the age of two and has been a member of the KC Dance Company for five years.  Katie loves all styles of dance, but her favorites are musical theater, lyrical, and acro.  Katie is a 2022 recipient of the Corr-Netsky Scholarship and has been awarded convention scholarships from Groove and Take Centerstage Dance Challenge. Katie’s favorite dance memories include receiving a regional title at Diva Dance, placing in the top 5 at Legacy Nationals, winning an improv challenge at Work It Dance, and attending a workshop with Abby Lee Miller.  When she is not at the studio, Katie is on the ice where she has skated competitively since the age of 3.  Katie hopes to inspire the younger generation and spread her love for dance.​
